On Oct. 3, 2008, Brian Moreau, Director of Scheduling, will be in Memphis for a base visit. He is planning on bringing a Duty Manager as well. Your Local Council Officers requested this meeting, to allow you to take your complaints, and comments, directly to the source.

We scheduled this meeting prior to the holiday bidding months. You are encouraged to bid the day off to attend. This will be an opportunity to get answers and voice your complaints in regards to PBS and all other scheduling issues. Mr. Moreau is the Director of Inflight Scheduling.

Location: Memphis Airport, Conference Room "A," directly to the right of, and adjacent to the TSA security checkpoint for Concourse "A."

Time: 11 a.m.-3 p.m. - There will be a short presentation about PBS and then the remaining time will be for a questions and answer session.

Your Local Council 93 Officers will provide a light lunch along with other refreshments.

National Group Protection (NGP) returns to Inflight

Sept. 4-8, 2008, a representative from NGP will be in Inflight conducting an open enrollment for the Supplemental Insurance Program.

You will have the opportunity to sign up for all three programs. A Group Accident, Group Critical Illness, and Universal Life program is available. NGP is working in conjunction with AFA-CWA to offer this program, and the premiums are payroll deductible.

A postcard and letter has been mailed to your home from NGP with further information.
